Founded in 1987, The Stables Club has grown to be the largest club on the University of Limerick campus. In that time, the Stables has become the focal point of campus social life. Our success has been based on our dedication to providing the best possible service and an atmosphere that lets both the student body and faculty relax in comfort.
Daily Food
The Stables Club offers daily breakfast, lunch and dinner. Breakfast – 8.15am – 11.30am. Lunch – 11.30am – 3pm. Evening Meals – 3pm – 7pm. We offer daily deals, such as Sandwich, Soup & Chips for €5 and The Stables famous chicken roll for €5.90. Hot meals start at €6.10. A selection of hot drinks and desserts are also available daily.

Castle Oaks Catering
Castle Oaks Catering provides a diverse range of food for all occasions. Our menus can be tailored to suit your needs. We can provide corporate dinners, finger food & BBQ’s. Locations of catering can be suited to your needs. The Stables Club and the new Bernal building are great locations for finger food catering and events.

Specialty coffees at the Scholars
The Scholars is a sister company of The Stables, which provides food and beverages in a relaxed and intimate environment. Mostly famous as UL’s No 1. coffee house, we provide a variety of specialty coffees, where our coffee beans are imported from Spain, to provide a luxurious and rich taste.

The Stables Club is the largest club on the University of Limerick campus.
Founded in 1987, The Stables Club has grown to be the largest club on the University of Limerick campus. In that time, the Stables has become the focal point of campus social life. Our success has been based on our dedication to providing the best possible service and an atmosphere that lets both the student body and faculty relax in comfort.
For 30 years, we’ve never been afraid to change and we constantly look for ways to improve and build on the services we provide. At the back of it all has been a huge amount of work put in by our management team and staff. In fact, our management have been here since the day the Stables opened, and the experience they’ve built up over the years is second to none.
The true measure of our success is in the number of past students and faculty that come back to us every year and tell us that their time in U.L. was the best years of their lives, and that the Stables contributed to their college life immeasurably.
